Nickmar v Preservatrice Skandia Insurance (1985) 3 NSWLR 44

This case involved legal professional privilege and whether or not documents issued by a third party brought into existence for the dual purpose of providing legal and non-legal advice were privileged. This case involved assessors reports of an insurance company and whether the intended use of those documents attracted legal privilege.  It also involved deciding whether or not privilege applied to copies of unprivileged documents.
