Re Sloan [1943] VLR 63

This case considered the issue of the administration of an estate and the issue of abatement of testamentary debts and expenses and  whether or not the value of a gift of shares for the purpose of abatement of debts and expenses of the testator was to be reduced by the value of a legacy charged on these shares.
