Palmer v Bank of New South Wales (1975) 133 CLR 150

This case involved an oral agreement between a deceased and a couple that he would leave his whole estate to them if they cared for him.  The issue was whether a bank account set up after the promise was made with another person was a testamentary disposition and formed part of his estate and whether or not it should go to the couple.
