This case considered the issue of rescission and whether or not there was a condition in the contract that needed to be completed first in order for the subsequent contract to be binding. The issue was whether or not a contract could be rescinded where a condition precedent had not been fulfilled and what notice needed to be given in order to rescind the contract.
