State Superannuation Board v Trade Practices Commission (1982) 150 CLR 282
This case considered the corporations power of the Commonwealth under s.51(xx) and whether or not the State Superannuation Board was a financial corporation and thus subject to the Trade Practices Act. The test to determine the true character of a corporation was again examined and whether or not the activities or purpose test was the relevant test.
