Associated Provincial Picture Houses Ltd v Wednesbury Corporation (“Wednesbury”) [1948] 1 KB 223
This case considered the issue of unreasonableness and whether or not an authority was reasonable in granting a licence to a cinema to conduct screenings on a Sunday on the condition that children under the age of fifteen be accompanied by an adult. This case establishes a standard for unreasonableness in relation to administrative decisions.
