Vanvalen v Neaves [2005] NSWSC 593

This case considered the issue of the family provisions and whether or not properties that were transferred into the name of the son of a woman shortly before she died were prescribed transactions for the purposes of calculating a womans notional estate when determing the adequacy of provision for the womans daughters.
