Malcherek [1981] 2 All ER 422
This case considered the issue of causation and whether or not it was correct for a judge to take away the decision of causation where the doctors had turned off life support machines believing that the victims were brain dead. The issue of whether or not the medical treatment broke the chain of causation was also discussed.
