The case of Oscar Chess v Williams considered the terms of a contract and whether or not a description of a motor vehicle amounted to a term of the contract and if the misdescription of this motor vehicle amounted to a misrepresentation and breach of contract. The central question was whether it was a binding promise or an innocent misrepresentation.
