Thomas Brown and Sons v Fazal Dean (1962) 108 CLR 391

This case considered the issue of illegality and whether or not the illegality of a contract affected the enforcement of the contract or whether it was void for illegality.  It also considered the issue of severance and whether or not parts of the contract that were legal were severable from the parts that were not.
