Rondel v Worsley [1967] 3 ALL ER 993

This case examined the issue of immunity and confirmed that the paramount duty of a legal counsel is to the court and that they should not elevate their duty to their client above the duty to the court.  It also confirmed the immunity that an advocate has by not being able to be sued for their actions in court if it is in the process of carrying out these duties to the court.
